Welcome to IOU

For the past twenty years IOU has played major role in educating future leaders. Indian Ocean University's graduation rate for undergraduate degrees is among the very highest in Somalia. IOU has trained and graduated many noted managers running the biggest businesses and humanitarian organizations as well as very highly ranked authors and politicians in Somalia.

The pursuit of excellence has long been a hallmark of Indian Ocean University. IOU encourages and provides additional opportunities to women in Somali to complete their education and pursuit leadership position in rebuilding Somalia.It is the only organization of its kind in Somalia that provides education opportunities for internally displaced person (IDP) camps in Mogadishu.

Admission

The following two options are available for enrollment:

Visit the student affairs department of the University at main campus and fill out the enrollment form.

Students can also enroll the University courses by filling out the following online enrollment form.
